aking place every year in Feltre between the end of June and the beginning
of July, this regional handicrafts exhibition opens the gates of the
ancient citadel "hanging" between the medieval structure of its alleys
and the remarkable architectural works dating back to the renaissance
time by creating the atmosphere of a real city in the town. On this
occasion, Feltre displays all the characteristic places which are
usually closed to visitors. Stalls, handicrafts coming from almost
all over Italy and from the trans alpine regions are placed in courtyards
of ancient palaces. In a perfect state of preservation thanks to the
works carried out by the old craftsmen the town offers an exceptional
scenario for the contemporary production. Even though the exhibition
is known at a regional level, it welcomes products from Northern and
Central Italy, down to Apulia and up to Tyrol and Bayern. |
